Students are navigating a challenging school year of virtual, blended, or in-person learning, and Little Kids Rock is here to help. Over the past few months, thanks to some amazing brand partners and friends who believe in the power of music to transform kids’ lives, we have provided more than $4M worth of equipment and other resources directly to Little Kids Rock students and teachers, to help them continue making meaningful music wherever they may be!

One of the biggest challenges with learning from home is coordinating space among family members! HARMAN donated nearly 10,000 pairs of JBL headphones to ensure kids have the equipment they need to participate in streaming free music lessons through Little Kids Rock. We were thrilled to see the collaboration by their celebrity ambassadors, including Aaron JudgeJulius RandlePriyanka Chopra JonasBam AbedayoZach LaVineAndre Drummond, Kenny Smith, Giannis, and Kemba Walker.

Composing and songwriting is a powerful way for students to express themselves. We saw this evidenced this year in the meaningful songs Little Kids Rock students wrote as showcased in our 2020 Songwriting Exhibition. Though many students are learning at a distance, this donation of IK Multimedia microphones inspires them and helps them continue making music.

Although keeping students engaged virtually is one of the biggest challenges for teachers, they have stepped up and found innovative ways to inspire their students. Little Kids Rock has helped by sharing valuable online resources for virtual music classrooms across the country. Little Kids Rock teachers are now able to use donated subscriptions from MasterClass, Fender Play, and to help them plan and implement music lessons this year!

Though this school year is unlike any other, Little Kids Rock, thanks to the generosity of our supporters, continues to provide music teachers and students across the country the help they need to keep rockin’. Donate now to support our work.
