Learn From the Best

Attendees can expect panels and keynote discussions from leading proponents and thinkers in modern band and popular music education, as well as dozens of breakout sessions on topics including instrumental skills, songwriting, technology, classroom management, stage presence, dance and movement, and more. A special emphasis is placed on the diverse genres that reflect the cultures of students and the music they listen to, such as rock, rap, R&B, electronic music, mariachi, and others.

Have Fun

In addition to professional development, the Summit features jam sessions, performance opportunities, networking and community-building activities, social events, and master classes.

Earn CEUs

You can receive up to two Continuing Education Units (CEUs) through WorldStrides for attending Modern Band Summit free of charge. WorldStrides holds accreditation through multiple regional agencies, including AdvancED. Please check with your district with regard to acceptance policies.
