Seven-year-old Drumming Sensation, Cole Marcus, to Perform at Little Kids Rock Booth #2004 at NAMM in Anaheim

January 19, 2006 – NAMM Show - Anaheim, CA (NAMM Booth #2004 - outside of Hall D) – Little Kids Rock (LKR), an innovative non-profit music program for children, announced today that on Saturday the 21st of January at 1:00 p.m., drumming sensation and child prodigy, Cole Marcus, will be performing at Little Kids Rock booth #2004 at the NAMM Show in Anaheim, CA.

Cole Marcus, drummer extraordinaire and television personality made his television debut at the age of four on the NBC reality program, "America's Most Talented Kid," in which he competed against other gifted children for the coveted title.

"We are thrilled that Cole and his parents want to show their support of our program," said David Wish, Little Kids Rock's Executive Director. "His out-of-this-world talent is inspirational and serves as a reminder of what our kids get cheated out of when music programs are slashed in our public schools.”

About Cole Marcus
Only a few select drummers can boast major appearances on TV shows, endorsements with well-known percussion manufacturers, and the respect of more experienced peers. Even fewer drummers can lay claim to all of the above by the age of five.

Cole Marcus, who has now just turned seven, has been impressing audiences and industry alike since he was three. In the ensuing four years, his precocious drumming skills and incredible personality have earned him appearances on NBC's America's Most Talented Kid (he won), The Today Show, Inside Edition, Access Hollywood, Extra!, The Sharon Osbourne Show, The Wayne Brady Show, Mark & Brian Radio Show, KTLA Morning News, and Tony Danza. He can also currently be seen on the new Life Cereal commercial as the new "Mikey".

Cole has also performed at youth outreach concerts across the country in front of audiences of 10,000 or more. The young drummer event shared billing with Switchfoot at a recent youth concert.

By the age of four, Cole earned endorsements with Mapex Drums, Zildjian cymbals, Vic Firth sticks, Phat Foot, and Factory Metal Percussion, and is the youngest songwriter in history to sign with BMI. Not bad for a kid who's barely in the second grade! More information on Cole can be found at www.colemarcus.com.

About Little Kids Rock
Little Kids Rock believes that music is a critical component of first-rate education. Many elementary schools have been stripped of their music programs. These cuts have had a disproportionately large impact on children from low-income backgrounds. Little Kids Rock restores music to its rightful place in the academic lives of kids in our public schools by providing a rich music education program including instrument instruction, free instruments and trained mentors. Founded by an elementary school teacher in 1996, Little Kids Rock is now serving thousands of students in CA, NY, NJ and TN. Bonnie Raitt, Paul Simon, B.B. King, Jason Newsted, Steve Vai, Brad Delson, Dave Mason, James Burton and Les Paul sit on our Honorary Board of Directors and we are supported by friends Tom Waits, Carlos Santana, Phish, Bob Weir and others.
