The LKR benefit event, "Music Matters 2005" was a huge success! As a result, hundreds of additional San Francisco Bay Area kids will start receiving free instruments and lessons from Little Kids Rock. This year's headliner was top ten hit-maker, RICK SPRINGFIELD. The crowd was also treated to performances by: NORTON BUFFALO AND FRIENDS (fronted by Norton Buffalo, longtime harmonica player for the Steve Miller Band), jazz guitarist and virtuoso, MIMI FOX and her trio and LKR STUDENTS. To all of these musicians, all of our sponsors and all who supported the event, we thank you for helping us put music back where it belongs ... in our schools!
