Little Kids Rock Little Kids Rock
kids' rock videos

In addition to teaching kids to compose their own music, Little Kids Rock helps them to record their own music videos. Check out the work of a few of our rock stars and hear what inspired their songs.

QuickTime Required:
  "I'm a Cowgirl"   (length: 1:24 - size: 3.48 MB)
I'm a Cowgirl Not too many eight year olds can say that they have written their own song. Not so for Little Kids Rock student Kati, who wrote this hard drivin' tune about cowgirls and cowboys when she was in second grade. This is her own rock video... Enjoy the show!

Song by Kati, eight years old
"As I Wake Up"   (length 2:26 - size: 5.25 MB)
I'm a Cowgirl This original music was written and performed by a Little Kids Rock student. Alma wails on her own original reggae composition and tackles an eternal question that we all face: "What should I do today?" Alma has written a number of other songs as well.

Song by Alma, eight years old
  "Not a Criminal"   (length: 2:17 - size: 4.04 MB)
Not a Criminal Although the lyrics to this song sound like they were written by some much older, Drew was just 11 years old when he wrote this original tune.

Song by Drew, 11 years old
  "That's All Right"   (length: 2:29 - size: 4.18 MB)
That's All Right As a tribute to Elvis Presley and the 50th Anniversary of Rock 'n Roll, Little Kids Rock students recorded their version of "That's All Right." Elvis recorded this song in 1954 when he was only a little more than a kid himself. Elvis Presley Enterprises is a proud supporter of LKR.

Song by Elvis Presley; performed by LKR students from New York and New Jersey

A very special thanks go to Jaime Kibben for producing "I'm a Cowgirl" and "As I Wake Up". Volunteers like Jamie have made Little Kids Rock what it is today. We love you Jaime!
