Little Kids Rock Nondiscrimination Policy
Little Kids Rock is committed to the principle of equal opportunity in education and
employment. Little Kids Rock does not discriminate against individuals on the basis of
race, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, disability, age, veteran
status, ancestry, or national or ethnic origin in the administration of its educational
policies, volunteer policies, employment policies, donation programs, vendor contracting and other Little Kids Rock programs and activities.
The Chief Operating Officer is designated as the Little Kids Rock's Equal Opportunity
Officer and Title IX Coordinator. Inquiries concerning Little Kids Rock's policies,
compliance with applicable laws, statutes, and regulations (such as Title VI, Title IX, and Section 504), and complaints may be directed to the Chief Operating Officer. In the
absence of the Chief Operating Officer, inquiries or complaints may be directed to the
Executive Director or to the Office Manager, respectively. Inquiries about the laws and
about compliance may also be directed to the Personnel Committee Chairperson of the
Board of Directors.
Little Kids Rock is committed to compliance with Title VI and Title VII of the Civil
Rights Act of 1964, Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1968, Title I and Title II of the
Civil Rights Act of 1991, the Equal Pay Act of 1963, Executive Order 11246 (1965),
Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 and its regulations found at 34 C.F.R.
part 106, Sections 503 and 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, the Americans with
Disabilities Act of 1990, the Vietnam-era Veterans Readjustment Act of 1974, the Age
Discrimination Act of 1975, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act of 1967, the
Family and Medical Leave Act of 1993, and with New Jersey Law Against
Discrimination (N.J.S.A. 10:5-1, et seq.).
